Short Bio:

Born on the snowy planet Vallik at the start of the Clone Wars, Jyn Erso's life was surrounded by wars and conspiracies that shook the galaxy to its core. When the Galactic Empire rose from the ashes of the Republic, Jyn and her parents Galen and Lyra hid away hid away on the planet Lah'mu, where they would live a poor, but peaceful life. However, were eventually discovered by Imperial director Orsen Krennic, who tried to press the father Galen back into Imperial service. When Galen refused, Krennic killed his wife Lyra, forcing their now-orphaned daughter Jyn to hide until she was found by her father's friend, Saw Gerrera. Under Saw's parentage, Jyn grew up as a member of his Partisan militia, until she was abandoned at age 16 for her own protection.

At age 22, Jyn was rescued by the Rebel Alliance for her father's knowledge of the Death Star, the Empire's ultimate weapon. After discovering her father's secret message about the Death Star's weakness, Jyn and her "Rogue One" team infiltrate the Imperial planet Scarif to steal the weapon's schematics and deliver them to the Rebels. Jyn and her team lost their lives, but managed to deliver the plans, giving the Rebels the tools they need to destroy the Death Star.

Feats: 

* Even as a child, survived a massive Seperatist raid on planet Lokori during the Clone Wars
* Spent her late childhood as a hardened freedom fighter and criminal in the Partisans
* Had the survival skills to survive on her own at age 16
* The Empire considered her troublesome enough to eventually convict her

* Directly caused the Battle of Scarif, the Rebels' first major offensive against the Empire

* Seems to be based on the German Luger pistol with a larger barrel

E-11 Blaster Rifle:

* Standard-issue Imperial assault rifle
* Based on the British Sterling submachine gun
* Arguably the most famous gun in all of Star Wars 
* Often captured by Rebel soldiers or other parties
* Decently accurate and comes with a telescopic sight
* Does high damage despite its low rate of fire
* Rate of Fire: 300RPM
* Comes with a folding stock (but no one ever seems to use it, for some reason)

A280C Blaster Rifle:
* Manufacturer: BlasTech Industries
* Standard-issue Rebel assault rifle
* Based on the German StG. 44 assault rifle
* Is a popular choice by Rebel commandoes for its high firepower and accuracy
* Can also be used as a sniper rifle in a skilled soldier's hands
* Is 's favorite gun in Star Wars: Battlefront  
* Rate of Fire: 400RPM
* Cooling Power: 27 shots before overheating



Thermal Detonator:
* Manufacturer: Merr-Sonn Munitions, Inc.
* Small, spherical grenade triggered by a button on the top
* Red light glows when the grenade is armed
* Blast Radius: Up to 20m. 
* Often used to wipe out groups of soldiers, sabotage large machines, or conduct "aggressive negotiations" with Hutts



Sonic Imploders:
* Manufacturer: Unknown
* Releases a harmful, but non-lethal sound that temporarily blinds enemies
* Essentially the Star Wars equivalent of stun grenades
* However, does have some killing potential



Smart Rocket Launcher:
* Manufacturer: Unknown
* A missile/rocket hybrid used by both the Rebels and the Empire
* Each rocket contains electronic targeting that locks onto enemy vehicles or turrets
* However, can also be dumb-fired against enemy infantry
* Launcher only holds one rocket at a time
* Blast Radius: 3 meters



Jyn's Baton:
* Jyn's personal melee weapon, likely taken from an Imperial riot trooper
* Clearly based on modern police tonfa sticks
* Extendable metal club allows for quick, but heavy melee strikes
* Jyn used this to beat down two Stormtroopers in Jedah City.

Strengths and Abilities:

* Physically Strong: Literally climbed her way up a tower of Imperial holodisks to find the one with the Death Star plans
* Fast and Agile: Constantly runs and dodges her way out of intense firefights
* Decent Marksman: Can handle herself reasonably well with most firearms, but is most comfortable with her pistol
* Hand-to-hand skills: Took down at least two Stormtroopers using nothing but her metal baton
* Natural Leader: Inspired a squad of Rebel soldiers to join her on the mission to Scarif against their orders

* Human Weakness: Can still die easily from a well-placed shot or stab wound
* Not Force-Sensitive: Has no Jedi or Sith powers to speak of, and must instead rely on her wits and physical strength
* Reckless, Aggressive, and Undisciplined: Often lets her short temper and aggressiveness cloud her thinking
